AUCURA™ Coated Flow Diverter

As China’s first flow diverter compatible with 0.017” microcatheters and featuring advanced antithrombotic coating, AUCURA™ Coated Flow Diverter delivers a comprehensive upgrade in intracranial aneurysm treatment.

Device Features

Antithrombotic Innovative Technology

The eG (electro-grafting) technology employs Poly-NTMA polymers, covalently bonded to create a robust structure. This advancement offers enhanced resistance to protein adsorption and platelet aggregation, effectively minimizing the risk of thrombosis.

Platelet Adhesion Test Results*

Tests have shown that eG™ technology effectively inhibits platelet a dhesiona critical step in preventing coagulation cascade activation and the formation of blood clots.

Hydrophilicity Testing (Water Contact Angle)*

The uncoated flow diverter exhibits an average contact angle of 92°, while the coated flow diverter shows an average contact angle of 11°. A smaller contact angle indicates enhanced hydrophilicity.

Ultra-Dense Mesh

Braided from 20μm wires, increasing braid density by 34% with 30-35% metal coverage. Enhances flow diversion efficacy while promoting neo-endothelial cell migration for accelerated aneurysm healing.

Reduces intra-aneurysmal blood flow by 43.5% in model simulations.

Maintains 90.5% branch vessel blood flow velocity, demonstrating minimal impact on covered branches.

20μm Cobalt-Chromium-Platinum (CoCrNi-Pt) DFT wire ensures full-length radiopacity under imaging.

Low-Profile Delivery System

Reduces delivery resistance by 62% through optimized design;Indicated for vessels from 2.0-6.0mm in diameter.

Features a No Tip design to reduce the risk of distal vessel trauma.

90% retrievable before full deployment.

Compatible with 0.017” microcatheters for 2-4mm diameters, enabling enhanced distal access.
